A Part of Planting

As one of America’s fastest growing cities, growing about 7% per year, Westfield, IN needs more churches where Christ is seen, savored, and celebrated as His whole word is central and correctly handled.
Over the past two years, Lynne and I have had the joy of helping to answer the call for more churches by being a part of planting the Fields Church in Westfield, IN. In God’s providence, we hopped on the train as it was leaving the station, hearing about the plant about two weeks before launching and deciding to join shortly thereafter. Since August 7, 2022 (our first meeting), we’ve witnessed ten baptisms, the appointment of two elders, and the affirmation of seventy eight additional members. God has been kind!
The great joy of the plant is seen in the centrality of Jesus Christ and His gospel, which permeate every aspect of the church. In the preaching, praying, singing, hospitality, giving, and serving, Jesus is enjoyed as all members endeavor to be and make disciples who treasure Christ above all.
